
A teenager has been charged after a man was seriously injured in a shooting Aug. 21, according to the Colerain Police Department.
Colerain Township officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Nandale Drive at about 9:26 a.m. for a report of a shooting, according to a news release. Officers arrived on scene and found evidence they determined to be consistent with a shooting.
Shortly after, a man had arrived at Mercy West Hospital in Green Township with multiple gunshot wounds.
The release said that a 14-year-old family member drove the seriously wounded man to the hospital. That teenager is now charged with second-degree felonious assault and third-degree tampering with evidence.
He is being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Court Youth Center.
The wounded man has been transferred from Mercy West Hospital to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The incident remains under investigation.
