A missing 10-year-old was found dead after a search in Warren County, according to police.
The Hamilton Township Police Department says they responded to the area of Hammerwood Court in Hamilton Township around
2:08 p.m. for a report of a missing 10-year-old nonverbal autistic boy.
Officals say the police department, along with Hamilton Township Fire and Rescue and the Deerfield Township Fire Department, began searching the area.
The search focused on the area around a nearby pond within the subdivision, but included the surrounding neighborhood and common areas.
During the search, the 10-year-old was found dead in the pond.
Police are still investigating, but say there is no indication of foul play.
