Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor said on Sept. 9 that his star wide receivers are progressing ahead of the Sept. 13 home opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Taylor said Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins were working toward being full participants in practice, after the duo returned to practice on Sept. 7.
Taylor also updated the status of second-year defensive end Shemar Stewart, but didn't predict if he'd play this week. "We'll progress him this week and see how it ends up," Taylor said.
The Bengals and Buccaneers are scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Paycor Stadium and the game will be broadcast on Fox19.
