After last weekend's 1,000-year storm brought widespread rainfall and flooding to the region, dry and sunny weather is forecast for the Cincinnati Music Festivalon July 24-25.
Dry conditions and below-average temperatures are expected Friday and Saturday, with highs ranging from the 70s to near 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Warm, humid weather is expected to return Sunday, along with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
The weather service said periods of more widespread storms are possible across the Ohio Valley, particularly Monday evening through Monday night. Forecasters cautioned that confidence remains low regarding the timing and extent of storm activity.
