Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said starting quarterback Lamar Jackson is "day-to-day" ahead of an NFL Week 7 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium.
Minter said Jackson, who has missed the Ravens' past two games, has made progress as he recovers from an ankle injury. Minter added that Jackson potentially could practice during the week.
The Ravens started Tyler "Snoop" Huntley at quarterback for a second consecutive week after ruling out Jackson for a Week 6 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Jackson has not practiced since suffering his ankle injury Oct. 4. Huntley replaced Jackson during the Ravens' Week 4 win against Tennessee.
Huntley completed 19-of-31 for 165 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions against Cleveland.
He also had 28 rushing yards on five carries, and was sacked three times.
Huntley has started 13 games over six seasons with the Ravens. He has not started a regular-season game against Cincinnati, but did start for the Ravens in their 24-17 postseason loss to the Bengals in Jan. 2023.
