A Twitter/X account with more than 460,000 followers took a shot at the Cincinnati Bengals over the whole having-to-cross-the-street-to-get-to-practice thing, and many rushed in the replies to the Bengals'
defense.
"TRENDING: #Bears star quarterback Caleb Williams was stunned when he realized he had to cross an actual street just to get to the #Bengals practice field in Cincinnati," @MLFootball tweeted. "This is still one of the most pathetic things that a professional franchise has."
Did Williams really look stunned? Crossing a street doesn't seem to be as stunning a development as, say, a Dexter Lawrence interception of Williams during the teams' joint practice near Paycor Stadium.
After the practice, Williams sounded impressed with Lawrence and the Bengals' revamped defense.
Reactions to the @MLFootball tweet:
Yall call it pathetic e we call it fan friendly. The team is very accessible to fans, considering they used to practice like an hour away SMH

It’s one street. About 50 yards. It’s downtown. It’s an awesome set up.
