A bull rider is dead after an incident at a Warren County rodeo Saturday night.
Fox Hollow Rodeo announced in a Facebook post that the bull rider died Oct. 24 following a series event at its rodeo grounds near Waynesville.
"Our hearts are absolutely broken following the tragic loss of one of our bull riders and brothers in Christ, last night at Fox Hollow Rodeo," the post reads.
It is unclear how the bull rider died. The rodeo did not share the rider's name and asked the public to respect his family's privacy.
"There are no words to express the sadness we are feeling. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy," the post reads.
The Enquirer is reaching out to police for more information.
Fox Hollow Rodeo holds events every Saturday night at 6 p.m. throughout the year, according to the rodeo's website. The rodeo offers "semi-pro and amateur" bull riding, barrel racing in the summer, and calf and sheep riding for kids.
