It's time for the latest edition of the Greater Cincinnati girls volleyball power rankings.
The back half of last week didn't have a ton of surprising results, or results in general, but that changes this week. With just over a month until the postseason starts, the calendar really gets busy with high-caliber league matches and in-season tournaments.
Here are the top teams in Greater Cincinnati. All scores and stats are updated through Sept. 8.

10. St. Henry Crusaders (9-2)
Last week: N/R
One thing is for certain: the Ninth Region is going to be a wild ride this season. After falling in the All "A" regional finals, the Crusaders responded with an easy sweep
of Scott, then went on the road and reverse-swept Notre Dame to hand the Pandas their first regional loss since 2021. The juniors led that victory. Violet Main had 23 kills, Kenadi Sieg and Madelyn Keipert combined for seven aces, and Stella Flick and Hadley Lemmond combined for seven blocks.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Dixie Heights (Sept. 10), at Louisville Invitational Tournament (Sept. 11 and 12) at North Oldham (Sept. 15)
9. Kings Knights (7-3)
Last week: 8
The Knights played just one match in the last week, grinding out a four-set win over Anderson. They still look like the class of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference; they're currently on a winning streak that could stretch deep into the season.
Upcoming schedule: vs. West Clermont (Sept. 10), at Loveland (Sept. 15)
8. St. Ursula Bulldogs (4-3)
Last week: 5
It was a rough week for SUA as it dropped contests to Ursuline and Rocky River Magnificat. Not having Parker Terrill has hurt the Bulldogs' attack as they totaled 79 terminations in seven sets in those losses. They have a chance to get back on track this week, even as they travel to Louisville to face some of the top teams in the region.

7. CHCA Eagles (8-0)
Last week: 9
The beginning of September was a slow time for volleyball in Cincinnati, at least in terms of the number of matches. The Eagles have played just twice since the calendar flipped, but the first match was their biggest win to date as they swept 2025 Division VI state semifinalist New Bremen. Adelynn Heaton and Murphy McGeady have the 6-2 offense humming and four players have at least 50 kills so far.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Cincinnati Country Day (Sept. 10), vs. MVCA (Sept. 12), at Mount Notre Dame (Sept. 14)
6. Mount Notre Dame Cougars (5-3)
Last week: 7
The Cougars showed real toughness is a five-set loss at Ursuline, taking the second and fourth sets in extra points. In that match, three players had 10 or more kills and five players had double-digit digs. Giving their opponents a variety of looks, both on defense and the attack, can take the Cougars far this season.
Upcoming schedule: vs. St. Ursula (Sept 10), vs. CHCA (Sept 14)
5. Beechwood Tigers (9-1)
Last week: 6
It's not often that a team goes a full week during the regular season without playing a match, but that's where the Tigers find themselves. It could turn out to be a much-needed rest period as Beechwood could play as many as 12 more matches before the month ends.
Upcoming schedule: at Holy Cross (Sept. 10), at Boone County (Sept. 15)
4. Ursuline Lions (5-1)
Last week: 4
The Lions dropped their first match of the season to Magnificat, which is rounding into one of the top DII teams in the state. Two big tests await this week as they cross the river to play a struggling Notre Dame squad before traveling to Seton in a match that will really determine how the Girls Greater Catholic League shapes up.
Upcoming schedule: at Notre Dame (Sept. 9), at Seton (Sept 10), vs. Mercy McAuley (Sept 15)
3. McNicholas Rockets (6-1)
Last week: 3
The Rockets are back on the war path. In three wins since a tough loss at Fenwick, they've allowed their opponents just 12.4 points per set. But the schedule is about to ramp up, especially as they begin to play more non-league teams.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Alter (Sept 10), at Roger Bacon (Sept. 12), at Badin (Sept. 15)
2. Fenwick Falcons (8-0)
Last week: 2
While McNicholas has a brick wall of a defense, Fenwick has stood tall on its offense. The Falcons had a .350 hitting percentage as a team in a win over Badin, led by Morgan Meiring's .688 conversion rate. They also held Badin to a -.077 hitting percentage. The event of the season happens this Saturday night as Fenwick hosts Mason in the second annual "Volley under the Lights", this time in partnership with the Joe Burrow Foundation.

1. Seton Saints (9-0)
Last week: 1
The Saints get into the GGCL schedule in earnest this week, and they will play two league contests in three of the next four weeks. Last season, Seton became the first team since at least 2006 to not drop a set in league play (including the GCL-Scarlet before realignment in 2013). That's another streak to watch for the Saints.
