25-year-old man has been arrested after a Sept. 11 shooting near the University of Cincinnati, police reported.
Willie Russ, 25, was arrested Oct. 8 and charged with felonious assault and burglary, a press release stated.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around noon near Cincy Steak and Lemonade on Short Vine Street. When officers arrived, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The person who was shot was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center and survived the shooting.
Russ is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
