Dallas investor buys struggling Northgate Mall
The aging mall at 9501 Colerain Ave. was sold Aug. 10 to Dallas-based Tundra Realty Inc. for an undisclosed amount, according to Hamilton County Property records. The property was appraised at about $1.2 million in 2025.
Meanwhile, a letter dated Aug. 13 from property manager Cushman & Wakefield directs Greg Insco, owner of The Studio dance studio to vacate his space at the mall no later than Sept. 14.
In an Instagram post, Insco said most of the remaining tenants at the struggling mall have been given 30-day notices to vacate.
Calls and emails to Cushman & Wakefield seeking comment on the status of the mall and its sale
price were not immediately returned for comment on the morning of Aug. 14.
Future of the mall unclear
A call to Tundra Realty regarding its purchase of the property also was not immediately returned Aug. 14.
Not included in the sale is a 9-acre former movie theater parcel on the south side of the mall, which is now an entertainment center, nor the former Sears store parcel on the west side of the mall.
The Sears building was acquired by Colerain Township in partnership with the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority and demolished.
