FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium announced registration is now open for the 2026 Thanksgiving Day Race presented by Western & Southern. The 117th annual race will kick off Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 26 with one of Cincinnati's most beloved family traditions.
Participants can choose between the Western & Southern 10K and TDR 5K, both beginning at 9 a.m., while young runners can take part in the ProAmpac Kids Fun Run, a quarter-mile race that starts at 8:30 a.m. which gives children the opportunity to experience the excitement of race day from the same starting line as the main events.
Registration is now open at ThanksgivingDayRace.com for the event.

“The Thanksgiving Day Race is one of Cincinnati’s most cherished traditions, bringing generations of families,
friends and neighbors together before they gather around the holiday table,” said Jeff Berding, FC Cincinnati President and Co-Chief Executive Officer, in a press release. “Few events have the ability to create lasting memories across so many generations, which is why this race continues to hold such a special place in our community. Whether you are running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, we look forward to kicking off Thanksgiving morning together.”
Following the race, participants and spectators are invited to visit the Pella Recovery Zone at TQL Stadium, where families can gather for the traditional post-race festivities.
Race participants are encouraged to register early and take advantage of packet pickup opportunities at TQL Stadium during Thanksgiving week. Packet pickup is scheduled to take place at TQL Stadium on Nov. 24-26, and race-day parking will be available in multiple downtown and stadium-area locations.
Additional race information, registration details and event updates are available at ThanksgivingDayRace.com.
The Thanksgiving Day Race presented by Western & Southern supports numerous local charities, including Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Greater Cincinnati, FC Cincinnati Foundation, Roger Bacon High School and Young Life.
