Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson made the NFL's weekly honor roll as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week the league announced Sept. 16.

McPherson was 4-for-4 on field goal attempts and 3-for-3 on point-after-touchdown attempts in Cincinnati's 33-27 win over Tampa Bay in Week 1.

Here's what the NFL list said:

"In Cincinnati's 33-27 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday, McPherson simply piled on the points. The kicker racked up 15 in total, as he was perfect on three extra points and four field goals – 20, 55, 58, 32. After the Bengals jumped out to a 21-7 lead, McPherson's four field goals closed out his squad's scoring. McPherson's now been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week five times."
