
Boone County voters will have an opportunity to hear from candidates seeking the county’s top elected office during a public debate planned at the Boone County Public Library Main Library in Burlington.
The forum is scheduled for Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the library, 1786 Burlington Pike, according to a community announcement. Candidates Chet Hand, a Boone County commissioner, and Tim Johnson are expected to participate in the debate for Boone County judge/executive.
The event will be moderated by Trey Grayson, former Kentucky secretary of state.
Organizers said the discussion will give residents a chance to hear directly from the candidates about their positions on local issues ahead of the election.
