Everyone's favorite witches are back (and just in time for spooky season).
"American Horror Story" is going back to its roots with a terrifying reunion of some of the franchise's biggest names for the upcoming 13th installment of FX's hit horror anthology.
Several cast members are reprising their roles for the all-new season, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett
, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman.Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, "American Horror Story" is known for reinventing itself each season, taking viewers through some of television’s most memorable horror worlds, from a haunted house and a witches’ coven to a traveling freak show, a mysterious hotel and an apocalyptic

"American Horror Story" returns with an all-new season on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. ET.
What is 'American Horror Story' season 13 about?
According to FX, the 13th season of "American Horror Story" will do justice to everyone's most feared number, bringing together an all-star cast with many of the characters reprising their fan-favorite roles as the season "continues to build on the anthology’s decades-long legacy."
Murphy, the show's creator, previously told The Hollywood Reporter, "This season is a thank you to the fans for continuing to watch."
While we don't know the exact plots of the season, fans can expect at least returns to season 1 ("Murder House"), season 3 ("Coven"), season 4 ("Freak Show") and season 7 ("Cult").
"We also had a lot of the original costumes still in storage that we got to use," Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter. "So there are little Easter eggs threaded around in the set decoration where fans can be like, 'Wait, wasn’t that in season two?' It was."

'American Horror Story' season 13 episode schedule
It wouldn't be the 13th season of "American Horror Story" without some oddities. According to TV Guide, this season will have 13 episodes, with the first three being released on Sept. 24.
The remainder of the season will air as follows:
- Thursday, Sept. 24: Episodes 1, 2 and 3.
- Thursday, Oct. 1: Episodes 4, 5 and 6.
- Thursday, Oct. 8: Episodes 7 and 8.
- Thursday, Oct. 15: Episodes 9 and 10.
- Thursday, Oct. 22: Episodes 11 and 12.
- Thursday, Oct. 29: Episode 13 (season finale).
