Today is the NFL deadline for teams to cut rosters to the 53-player maximum before 6 p.m. The Cincinnati Bengalsenter the 2026 NFL season with high expectations and have the second-best odds to win the AFC North.
Bengals coach Zac Taylor is the only coach returning in the division this season and Cincinnati added veteran defensive players including defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, safety Bryan Cook and defensive end Boye Mafe, among others.
The Bengals made it through training camp and the preseason with limited injuries to starters. Defensive end Shemar Stewart was injured on the first day of training camp and defensive back Dax Hill also was injured.
