In a shocking turn of events, three-time Grammy-nominated singer Taylor Hanson and his professional partner, Britt Stewart, whom he specifically asked to dance with, were eliminated during last week's episode of "Dancing with the Stars."
Hanson is a renowned musician, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and activist. You might know him best from the band Hanson. When he was 9, Hanson formed the band with his brothers Issac and Zac. The band rose to global fame with their lead single "MMMBop," which hit No. 1 in 27 countries.
His "Yacht Rock Night" dance with Stewart was a foxtrot to "What a Fool Believes" by the Doobie Brothers. Hanson finished near the bottom of the judges' leaderboard with 18 points, tying with Ciara Miller and Jackson Olson.

How to vote for 'Dancing with the Stars' contestants
"Dancing with the Stars" fans have two ways of voting during the episode: online or by text. Both voting methods will only be open during the show, starting at 8 p.m. ET and ending shortly after the final dance of the episode.
For SMS voting, you can text the first name of the star you are voting for to 21523. For online voting, you will have to make an account on dwtsvote.abc.com. Once your account is set up, you can follow the website's instructions on how to cast your vote.
There is a voting limit of 10 votes per couple, per voting method.
According to ABC, live viewer votes from each night will be combined with the judges' scores to determine who may be in jeopardy of elimination.
