A father and son were arrested after a fatal shooting in the parking lot of a North College Hill sports bar last month.
Aaron Peavy, 44, and Brian Peavy, 22, were indicted on charges including murder, felonious assault and abduction on Friday, Oct. 16, according to Hamilton County court records. They are accused of striking Donald Jamar Hales with a gun in the parking lot of Fricker's Bar and Grill before fatally shooting him six times, according to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office.
Hales died at the hospital later that night, officials said. A second person was shot in the arm.
The Peavys are being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Aaron Peavy got into an argument with Hales inside Fricker's Bar and Grill on Sept. 27, according
to the prosecutor's office. Police said they were called to the bar around 5 p.m.
Aaron Peavy is accused of pulling out a gun and forcing Hales into the parking lot before beating him with a firearm. Bar staff briefly broke the pair.
"Aaron's son, Brian, took Aaron's gun and pointed it at the victim," according to a statement from the prosecutor's office. "The victim, still bleeding, pulled out his own gun."
All three began to struggle with Hales' gun, causing it to accidentally discharge, officials stated. Brian Peavy then stepped back and fired six shots into Hales, emptying the magazine of his firearm.
A woman told 911 operators she saw at least two people fighting in the parking lot. Both pulled out guns.
"They're shooting," she said. "Somebody just got shot out there."
The gunshots caused a panic inside the bar, where officials said the men had been moments earlier.
Enquirer media partnerFox19 reported that Hales' friend said the altercation started because a disagreement over a football game.
Court appearances for the father and son have not yet been scheduled as of the morning of Oct. 17, according to court records.
