Graeter's Ice Cream announced a new German-inspired ice cream flavor in honor of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.
Is it pretzel and beer cheese? Pork schnitzel?! Oh goodness, sauerkraut!?!
Folks, it's ... apple strudel! Phew!
Graeter's will sell the new flavor, inspired by the traditional Southern Bavarian dessert, for a limited time starting on Friday, Sept. 4, the company shared in a release.
The cinnamon ice cream features baked apples, sweet icing and cinnamon pastry pieces. Graeter's partnered with the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, the organizers of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, to create the flavor in honor of the festival's 50th anniversary.
According to the release, Graeter's Apple Strudel Ice Cream will be available by the scoop and in pints at all local
Graeter's shops. Fans of the seasonal flavor can also purchase pints online for local delivery through order.graeters.com or nationwide shipping at Graeters.com. Retailers Dorothy Lane Markets and Jungle Jim's will also sell pints. The flavor is available while supplies last.

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati, the world's largest Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich, will take place from Sept. 17-20 at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove, Downtown.
