The Cincinnati Reds' attendance at Great American Ball Park was under 2 million for the first time since 2022 this past season, which ended with the team posting a 75-87 record and finishing in last place in the NL Central.
The team had a reported 1.99 million in attendance at home games this season, which is the lowest since the 1.39 million in 2022.
The Reds on Sept. 30 announced there would be no Redsfest this December while planning is underway for the event to return in 2027.
MLB and the players union are still in talks about a new collective bargaining agreement. The current agreement ends on Dec. 1 and there will be a lockout if a new agreement isn't reached before the old one expires.
