There were six people arrested on minor charges in the vicinity of the 2026 Cincinnati Music Festival over the weekend. Police say it was success.
Cincinnati police spokesman Brad Underwood said two people were charged with disorderly conduct and a third with obstructing official business related to a scuffle in the street that was quickly broken up by police.
That fight was posted to social media. The video shows that the incident broke out in front of multiple police officers who immediately stepped in. Underwood said two Tasers were used and one firearm was recovered during the arrests.
Underwood said two others were arrested on pickpocketing charges and another person was charged with disorderly conduct in unrelated incidents.
There was also
a single report of a vehicle being broken into at a garage near Paycor Stadium. Underwood said a firearm, cash and credit cards were taken.
After a brawl on Fourth Street went viral and turned into a heated political debate in 2025, Underwood said this year police managed the crowd. No major incidents were reported.
"Traffic congestion and parking was the biggest challenge," he said, adding there were no issues with juvenile crowds.
