Halloween Haunt is returning to Kings Island later this month, and it's bringing two iconic horror franchises with it.
First, Jason Voorhees from "Friday the 13th" is coming to the Mason theme park near Cincinnati in "Jason: Blood Reign." The new attraction is in partnership with Horror, Inc. — the owners of the "Friday the 13th" franchise, according to Variety — which launched the Jason Universe, a series of new games, merchandise and shows. Kings Island is one of three Six Flags parks in the nation to get the new attraction.
And returning this year is "The Conjuring: Beyond Fear," based on New Line Cinema's "The Conjuring Universe." Visitors will navigate eerie scenes and encounter characters like The Nun, The Crooked Man and The Ferryman in a race
to lock Annabelle back in her box.
Haunted maze inspired by 'Friday the 13th' franchise coming to Kings Island, other Six Flags parks, for Halloween
"Jason: Blood Reign" haunted mazes are coming to three Six Flags parks for Halloween: Kings Island, Carowinds in North Carolina and Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.
A video shared by Six Flags in August teased the attraction but didn't show much. It included a VHS cassette labeled "Why won't you DIE" followed by silhouettes of Jason holding a machete and another person running through a dark forest.
"Will you survive the night?" Six Flags asks in its caption.
'The Conjuring: Beyond Fear' returns for a second season at Kings Island
"The Conjuring: Beyond Fear" is an immersive terror experience where visitors take on the role of paranormal investigator, encounter malevolent entities including the infamous Annabelle. They must lock away cursed artifacts before sinister forces consume the living realm.
The attraction is "SCREAMium" experience requiring a ticket that starts at $20 online and a reservation that's not included with park admission or a haunted attraction pass.
Haunted mazes, scare zones return to Halloween Haunt
Halloween Haunt’s lineup of haunted mazes will also see the debut of Metal Massacre, a show where the dead play and the audience is the main event trying to survive the show.

When does Halloween Haunt start at Kings Island?
Halloween Haunt begins Friday, Sept. 25 and runs on select days through Oct. 31.
How much are tickets to Kings Island Halloween Haunt?
A daily ticket to Kings Island starts at $45 online, and includes fall events on select dates.
But to get access to the haunted mazes, you need a Halloween Haunt bundle, which starts at $64 and also includes admission to the park.
Daily haunted attractions passes start at $15 with an all season haunted attraction pass starting at $29.
