The Greater Cincinnati high school girls soccer season has been fun to follow, with a lot of teams capable of making long postseason runs. Here are this week's power rankings.
10. Western Brown Broncos (12-0)
Last week: unranked
The Broncos have not been challenged this season and likely won’t be until they play two games against league archrival Batavia in October. Senior Kendall Hanlon is continuing her outstanding career with 28 goals and 22 assists, and Lydia Seibert has 24 and 13. Danica Verdon has five shutouts.
Upcoming schedule: at Georgetown (Sept. 24), at Goshen (Sept. 29)
9. East Central Trojans (10-1)
Last week: unranked
The Trojans have had an outstanding season as they look to make a run in the Indiana playoffs. They have outscored teams 60-3 for the season. Juniors Peyton Aichele and Heather Albrinck
lead a balanced offense with nine goals.
Upcoming schedule: at Mount Vernon (Sept. 23), at Avon (Sept. 26), vs. Batesville (Sept. 28).
8. Ross Rams (11-0)
Last week: 8
The Rams have won 10 of their 11 games by two goals or more, and had a streak of seven straight clean sheets snapped Sept. 22 with a 4-1 win at Bellbrook. They have wins over Mariemont and Batavia, and have their biggest test of the season against Division IV state champ Summit Country Day this week.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Summit Country Day (Sept. 24), at Talawanda (Sept. 29).
7. Indian Hill Braves (7-0-1)
Last week: 7
The Braves took their first blemish in a 1-1 draw with Cincinnati Hills League foe Mariemont. Molly Josephic scored for the Braves and Alyssa Dewey for Mariemont.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Taylor (Sept. 23), vs. Summit Country Day (Sept. 28).
6. Anderson Raptors (6-3)
Last week: 5
The Raptors beat Turpin, 2-0, to take first place in a typically tight Eastern Cincinnati Conference race. Anderson dropped a 3-0 decision to Division I power Centerville.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Mount Notre Dame (Sept. 26), at Milford (Sept. 29).
5. Sycamore Aviators (6-2-2)
Last week: unranked
Sycamore, which has not won a Greater Miami Conference title since 2007, has a one-game lead on Mason after winning its first five league contests. The Aviators end the regular season with the Comets on Oct. 14. Sycamore has won five straight overall by a total of 29-3. Estelle Murphy has 10 goals and Rachel Balent, nine.

4. Harrison Wildcats (8-1-2)
Last week: 4
Harrison continues to rack up impressive wins, beating Lawrenceburg 4-0 and Indianapolis Cathedral 3-0 last week. They get a shot at top-ranked Seton Sept. 23.
Upcoming schedule: vs. Seton (Sept. 23)
3. St. Ursula Bulldogs (6-2-2)
Last week: 3
The Bulldogs were no match for powerful Seton in Girls Greater Catholic League play, losing 5-0 last week, but they won’t have to worry about the Saints in the postseason as they hope to contend for a Division II regional title. Against DII teams, they have beaten Mount Notre Dame and drawn with Harrison.
Upcoming schedule: vs. MND (Sept. 23), vs. Madeira (Sept. 26), vs. Seton (Sept. 28).
2. Summit Country Day Silver Knights (9-1)
Last week: 2
Summit will have games against five teams in this week’s top 10 before the playoffs and will be well-tested as it hopes to add a Division III state title to its trophy case.
Upcoming schedule: at Ross (Sept. 24), at Indian Hill (Sept. 28).
1. Seton Saints (11-0)
Last week: 1
The Saints have been rampaging through the Girls Greater Catholic League and Division I foes. It’s hard to imagine anyone else winning Division I, Region 4. The Saints have non-league tests against Harrison, Summit Country Day and Walnut Hills.
Upcoming schedule: at Harrison (Sept. 23), at St. Ursula (Sept. 28).
