A New York Times bestselling author whose books became a hit Netflix series will bring the 19th century to Greater Cincinnati next month.
Julia Quinn, who penned the internationally acclaimed "Bridgerton" series, "Queen Charlotte," and "The Rokesby" series, will be in town for the Campbell County Public Library's upcoming "Signature Series" event on Sept. 6.
During the event, Quinn will "talk all things 'Bridgerton' " and more. The signature series event will be held at the Fort Thomas Mess Hall, 801 Cochran Ave., from 3-4 p.m.

Quinn published her first book in 1995 and found her niche in writing historical romance novels. In 2000, she published the first book in her nationally bestselling "Bridgerton" series, "The Duke and I," and it changed her life
forever.
In 2020, her "Bridgerton" novels hit television screens and quickly became one of Netflix's most-watched shows. Aside from writing, Quinn is a strong library supporter and even became the first national ambassador for EveryLibrary in 2023, where she advocated for library funding and spoke out against censorship.
The signature series event is free to attend, but registration is required. Book lovers can register at cc-pl.org/event/ or at any Campbell County Public Library location.
