Spotting celebrities in Greater Cincinnati isn't uncommon, but a local business was left in awe after a visit from one of the most acclaimed actors (who also happened to star in a movie singing about Cincinnati): Keanu Reeves.
Reeves, who's best known for his roles in "The Matrix" and "John Wick," was spotted at the Covington Days Street Fair, near the Covington Farmers Market, on Sunday, according to a social media post from Vessel Collective, which had a flower bar set up.
"It was a busy weekend full of Bloom Bars… but only ONE came with a celebrity sighting!" the Aug. 24 post read. "Thank you to everyone who hired us to bring a Vessel Bloom Bar to their event this weekend, and to everyone who stopped by to get Flowered by Vessel at the Covington
Farmers Market! Including… Keanu Reeves! Yes, THE Keanu Reeves stopped by our Bloom Bar, and of course we had to get a photo!"
The Enquirer reached out to Vessel Collective to learn more about Reeves' visit.
While Reeves isn't from the Greater Cincinnati region, he does have a Queen City connection.
The 61-year-old actor starred in the classic 1980s Christmas movie "Babes in Toyland." In the 1986 TV adaptation of the 1903 Victor Herbert operetta, Keanu Reeves and Drew Barrymore sing the cringeworthy song "C-I-N-C-I-N-N-A-T-I," which calls the city the "queen of Ohio’s alpine ski resorts" and rhymes Cincinnati with "Ohio’s Maserati."

The actor-turned-rocker is in Greater Cincinnati because his band, Dogstar, is set to perform at Bogart's on Monday, Aug. 24. The show starts at 7 p.m.
