It's time to clothe the bird again, pilgrims.
That's right, The Enquirer's Dress the Turkey contest β presented this year by Freestore Foodbank β will be back sooner than you can say "tryp-to-phan" three times before falling asleep. (That's fast!)
This year's bird has a certain beefy bravado that we're quite in love with, wouldn't you agree? Or, is that a smugness we detect in that sassy face? Well, it's up to YOU to decide.
Get out the box o' Crayolas and googly eyes and take that bird in whatever direction your heart desires. Give your gobbler a hat or a tie, a shirt or some shoes ... put 'em on a boat or turn 'em into a goat.
But there is one big rule: You gotta have fun with it! (Pro tip: Bonus points for integrating newsy current events or trends.
And to become a finalist, submit a well-lit, high-resolution photo.)
Submissions are open Oct. 18-Nov. 15. They must be submitted right here, at cincinnati.com/dresstheturkey2026. No mail-in birds will be eligible for victory (or the spoils). Come Thanksgiving Day, we'll have four winners taking home $100 each: one winner per age group and one overall winner.
Now that you're all preheated, toss that bird in the oven and get cookin'!
