A 19-year-old is dead and two others injured after a Saturday night shooting on Interstate 71.
Amarion Waver died at the scene of the Oct. 10 shooting, according to a Cincinnati police news release.
Officers were dispatched to I-71 northbound at the 8.0 mile marker near the Norwood Lateral for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, police say the responding officers found three people in a Nissan Altima that had been involved in crash.
The Cincinnati Fire Department transported another 19-year-old male with injuries that were not life threatening and an 18-year-old male with life-threatening injuries, including a gunshot wound, to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the release said.
