Girls golfers across Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio have started their Ohio High School Athletic Association postseasons and some golfers are district tournament bound.
Southwest girls in Divisions I and II competed in sectional tournaments starting on Sept. 14. Division II qualifiers advanced to the districts at Heatherwoode on Sept. 30 with the Division I girls playing on Oct. 6.
Here are the local golfers that qualified for the OHSAA district tournaments.
Division I
2026 girls golf results from Walden Ponds morning grouping
Golfers played two sectional tournaments on Sept. 15 at Walden Ponds, starting with the morning group.
Sycamore and Lakota East each tallied 316, but Sycamore snagged first place, thanks to its fifth golfer having a lower
score of 87 to Lakota East's 88. The Aviators and the Thunderhawks were also neck-and-neck at the top of the individual leaderboard. There, Lakota East junior Jenna Schmidt carded a 70 to finish as sectional medalist, besting Sycamore freshman Savanna Blackmore by a stroke.
Walnut Hills scored a 326 and Anderson, a 346, to place third and fourth, rounding out the team district qualifiers. St. Ursula senior Brooke Roettker had a 75, tying for fourth and advancing as the top individual district qualifier. The other individual qualifiers (top four finishers not on a qualifying team) were Lexi Holzbacher of Oak Hills with a 77, teammate Dixie Brogan with an 81 and Milford's Ellie Fight with an 82.
2026 girls golf results from Walden Ponds afternoon grouping
The Girls Greater Catholic League took the top spots in the afternoon at Walden Ponds. Ursuline Academy took first by shooting a 321, with Seton right behind with a 343. Mason shot a 355 and Wyoming had a 358 to also reach districts.
All five Ursuline golfers finished in the top 10, including senior Leah Mulcahy winning by shooting a 77. Two strokes back was Little Miami's Lauren Perry, to finish as runner-up while qualifying for the next round. Indian Hill's Kate Roudabush also qualified, finishing behind Perry with an 80.
Addi Houillion of Little Miami shot an 85 and Roger Bacon's Addie Ayers an 87 to take the third and fourth qualifying spots.
2026 girls golf results from the WGC Sectional Tournament
For the first time since moving up to Division I, the Badin Rams won their sectional tournament. The Rams, led by senior Taylor Zoz, who fired a 79, finished with a 327, getting by runner-up Lebanon's 335. Springboro was also close behind, finishing in third with a 337 with Kings taking fourth with a 378.
Over on the individual race, Lebanon's Olivia Donovan dominated, shooting a 31 on the front nine and a 37 on the back, carding a 68 to take first by eight strokes. Madeline Donovan was the runner-up with a 76, followed by Elise Dunkel in third with a 77 and Zoz in fourth.

Carroll's Michele Everhart was the top qualifying individual with her 88, followed by Talawanda's Charley Robinson with a 90, Carroll's Madelynn Austria with a 94 and Hamilton's Emery Kuhlman with a 95.
Division II
2026 girls golf results from the Reeves sectional
At Reeves on Sept. 17, three of the area's best golfers, Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's Sophia Fink, Madeira's Ellie Hartung and Bethel-Tate's Abby Kelley, were in a three-way race for the sectional crown at Reeves.
All three had a 36 on the back nine, but Kelley shot a 37 on the front to finish in third place with a 73. Hartung and Fink tied for first at the same sectional last year before going first and second at districts (Hartung 69, Fink 71). Then, at state, they tied for runner-up as both had a 35 on the front. The pair each carded a 71, tying again for the sectional title.
Kelley was far and away the top individual district qualifier. Following Kelley's 73 and advancing was Clinton-Massie's Renni Sagraves with a 99, Williamsburg's Delaney Donohoo with a 103 and Georgetown's Mattie Newberry with a 105.
Hartung paced Madeira to a 340 and the team sectional championship. Fenwick was runner-up with a 385, Mariemont third with a 400 and CHCA fourth with a 404.
2026 girls golf results from the WGC Sectional Tournament
Middletown Christian sent just two golfers to the WGC sectional on Sept. 16, but freshman Christina Morris and senior Karsyn Meier made sure the trip was worthwhile.
Morris and Meier didn't just qualify for districts; they finished first and second at the tournament. Morris carded a 74 to win and Meier was one shot behind with a 75, tying for runner-up.
Waynesville senior Reese Williams finished in seventh with a 94, earning the final district-qualifying spot.
