Just five starts since returning from the injured list (IL), Cincinnati Reds All-Star starting pitcher Hunter Greene returned to the IL on Aug. 5 because of soreness in his surgically repaired right elbow.
Greene missed the first half of the season because of elbow surgery to remove bone chips in March.
