Two people are trapped inside the cab of a semitruck that is hanging off the Martin Luther King Jr. overpass at Interstate 71 late afternoon Aug. 30, according to Cincinnati police.
The truck is hanging off right next to the southbound entrance of the interstate, over the lower one-way ramp that connects to Taft Road. Cincinnati police spokesman Brad Underwood said firefighters are on the scene and a heavy wrecker tow truck is on the way.
It is unclear how the semitruck ended up in that position. The conditions of the two people trapped are unknown.
Underwood said traffic on I-71 has not been affected, but the lower ramp to Taft Road is closed.
