The Cincinnati Bengals placed rookie tight end Josh Kattus on the active/non-football injury list July 25.
In April, Kattus, a former Moeller High School standout and the son of former Bengals tight end Eric Kattus, was among Cincinnati's undrafted free-agent signings.
Kattus had 505 receiving yards on 38 catches with six touchdowns over the past four seasons for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Eric Kattus, a former Colerain High School standout, had 698 receiving yards on 66 catches with five TDs over six seasons for the Bengals from 1986 to 1991. Kattus scored a touchdown in the Bengals' 41-14 playoff win against Houston on January 6, 1991.
Josh's brother, Justin, played at St. Xavier before following Josh to UK. Their younger brother, Tucker, who also
played at St. X, is an offensive lineman at Clemson.
