Thunderstorms are expected to continue in Greater Cincinnati on Wednesday, Aug. 12 after gusts left over 170,000 people without power on Tuesday.
Storms are expected throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service of Wilmington. They pose a risk for flash flooding, but the risk is less severe than Aug. 11.
Despite the rain, a high near 88 is expected to pose a significant risk of heat exhaustion or heat stroke to those who spend prolonged time outside.
Saturday, Aug. 15 is the first day this week expected to be sunny. There's a strong chance of rain each day until then, forecasters predict.
