After a weekend of severe thunderstorms brought damaging winds and heavy rain to the Cincinnati area, the National Weather Service is conducting storm damage surveys across the region, including Warren County.
One tornado has already been confirmed in Southeast Indiana.
Franklin County, Indiana, was hit by a tornado Saturday, Aug. 1, the weather service said Monday. The tornado was confirmed with video and radar evidence. The weather service will conduct surveys in Highland Center, Indiana, and surrounding areas in Franklin and Dearborn counties to determine additional details regarding the tornado.
In Ohio, storm surveys are planned for Franklin in Warren County. Surveys will also be conducted near Eaton and Wheatville in Preble County, and near west
Dayton in Montgomery County .
