If you were out and about in Greater Cincinnati this past weekend, you might have passed one of the most acclaimed actors on the planet: Keanu Reeves.
The 61-year-old actor and musician stopped by Mike's Music, located at 2615 Vine St. in Corryville, on Aug. 24, the music store posted to social media. The post included a photo of Reeves and Bret Domrose, who are in a rock band called Dogstar
, which performed at Bogart's the same day.
Reeves' visit marked the second time the "John Wick" actor took in the Greater Cincinnati scenery. On Aug. 23, he was at the Covington Days Street Fair, according to a social media post from Vessel Collective Cincy,
Cindy Switzer-Dempsey, owner of Vessel Collective Cincy/Flowered by Vessel, said Reeves stopped by the
market on his way back to the hotel and had been at MadTree getting some Dewey's Pizza.
"He was so kind to all the kids that had posters for him to autograph and taking selfies with them. Such a nice guy," she said.
Mike's Music, dubbed "Ohio's largest selection of vintage and used guitars," according to its website, specializes in vintage and used musical gear. Mike's Music inventory includes guitars, banjos, mandolins, keyboards, drums, amplifiers, pedals, accessories and more.
"We are here to help support our music community and get local professionals heard, seen and equipped with great gear," owner Mike Reeder previously told The Enquirer. "We are the place for up-and-coming artists and performers to grow, from your first guitar to the last!"
