The leaders of the World's Largest Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati have been revealed.

Local 12 anchor Bob Herzog will serve as the emcee for the 2026 World's Largest Chicken Dance. In celebration of Cincinnati Navy Week, U.S. Navy Sailors will serve as the Grand Marshals at the festival, taking place Sept. 17-20 at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove.

The World’s Largest Chicken Dance is one of several beloved Oktoberfest traditions and was renamed four years ago to honor Cincinnati media legend Rich Walburg, who died in 2022. Past leaders have included Cincinnati Reds pitcher Brent Suter, Skyline CEO Dick Williams, Nick and Drew Lachey, Weird Al Yankovic and "Cheers" star George Wendt, among others.
