Frozen burritos sold at Costco have been recalled after over health concerns after a consumer found an unidentified allergen. Here are the key details to know.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a notice on July 29 stating Red’s Steak, Cilantro and Lime Burritos sold at Costco were mislabeled and contained an undeclared allergen — eggs.
Eggs may cause severe or potentially life-threatening allergic reactions in individuals who are sensitive to them. As of now, there haven't been any confirmed reports of adverse reactions from the product.
“The product contains egg, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label,” the USDA notice read. “FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that
consumers with allergies to egg products are aware that this product should not be consumed."
The burritos were sent to Costco distribution centers in Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota. According to the FSIS notice, they are no longer sold in stores.

What to do if you have Costco's burritos?
Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume it. The product should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase, FSIS states.
