In the NFL Top 100, a ranking of the NFL's top 100 players as voted on by the players, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow went from a top 10 player a year ago to outside the top 40 after another injury-shortened season in 2025.
Ranked No. 6 a year ago, Burrow fell to No. 44 in the July 30 release, sitting between No. 42 Chris Jones of Kansas City and No. 45 Zack Braun of Philadelphia.
The No. 44 ranking is the lowest for Burrow whose previous low when making the list was No. 39 in 2024, which also came after a No. 6 ranking in 2023.
"Despite missing more than half the season, Burrow still resides in the top 50, showcasing just how highly respected he is among his NFL brethren," the report of Burrow says. "Sidelined after Week 2 due to turf
toe, Burrow returned in Week 13 and had at least two touchdown passes in each of his six games of the season. Voted to his third Pro Bowl last season, the two-time AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year is once again poised to lead Cincy's high-octane offense. Hopefully he can stomp out the injury bug this season."
Burrow played in eight games for the 6-11 Bengals, completing nearly 67% of his passes for 1,809 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Burrow is the 10th quarterback to be named so far, beating out No. 98 Bryce Young, No. 85 Brock Purdy, No. 77 Baker Mayfield, No. 72 Jordan Love, No. 69 Lamar Jackson, No. 62 Trevor Lawrence, No. 59 Bo Nix of Denver, No. 56 Jalen Hurts and No. 51 Caleb Williams.
