Who's hosting the Oct. 3 episode of 'SNL'?
Third time's the charm for Dakota Johnson, as the actress is set to host "Saturday Night Live." The star, best known for her roles in the "Fifty Shades" trilogy, is no stranger to the Studio 8H, as she made her hosting debut back
in 2015.
Aside from her hosting stints, Johnson also appeared as a guest on the "Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special" and made a cameo during the show's Dec. 13, 2025 episode, showing up mid-song during music guest Lilly Allen's performance of "Madeline."
Who is the musical guest for 'Saturday Night Live' on Oct. 3?
Johnson will be joined by Baltimore-based rock band Turnstile as the episode's musical guest.
The band, which is currently in the midst of its The Never Enough Tour Pt. 2, is touring across the country before heading overseas next year. According to NBC, the band actually rescheduled a planned Oct. 3 show in Oklahoma City to make its "SNL" debut. (The band moved the concert back to Monday, Oct. 5.)
Turnstile was formed in 2010 and currently consists of the following members: Brendan Yates (vocals), Franz Lyons (bass), Daniel Fang (drums), Pat McCrory (guitar) and Meg Mills (guitar).
