The Cincinnati Bengals' first injury report of the 2026 NFL season was about as encouraging as they come, although the outlook for a player that missed most of the preseason is still up in the air.
The report released Sept. 9 showed the names of three Bengals players − Ja'Marr Chase (knee), Tee Higgins (foot) and Shemar Stewart (knee) − and all three players were listed as full participants.

Stewart, the second-year edge rusher who missed most of training camp, has an uncertain outlook for the team's 2026 regular-season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 13. Head coach Zac Taylor said Sept. 9 that it was possible Stewart could play in the game but didn't commit
to anything beyond that.
There's more optimism around Chase and Higgins as Taylor said the star receivers were on track to play against Tampa Bay.
