Severe weather has arrived in Greater Cincinnati during one of the Queen City's busiest weekends of the year.
Heavy rain, isolated tornadoes, damaging winds and localized flooding are possible in eastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky and southwest Ohio. Storms are expected to pose the greatest risk from the afternoon into the evening on Saturday, Aug. 1, around the same time that two major Cincinnati sports games and a country music concert are expected to draw thousands Downtown.
The chance of flooding comes two weeks after slow-moving storms caused temporarily closed restaurants and flooded homes in some east Cincinnati neighborhoods due to up to 5 of inches of rain.
