Another celebrity has shared their groundbreaking thoughts on Cincinnati's famous chili. This time, it was none other than Will Poulter, who recently starred in an Ohio-based film alongside Noah Centineo.
Ahead of the movie's premiere, former Fox19 anchor Payton Marshall, who now serves as the morning anchor at Fox 45/ABC 22 in Dayton, asked Poulter his thoughts on Cincinnati's delicacy: Skyline Chili
."Have you tried Skyline?" she asked the actor in a video posted to her TikTok account Aug. 14.
"Yes! But I had it early in Cincinnati," Poulter said before sharing his thoughts on the special chili. "I loved it. I loved it. Yeah, honestly. My last remaining goal before we have to go back to New York is I need to get an Ohio State jersey."
Marshall
chimed in after, saying, "If you wanna add a Bengals jersey in there, too, I think that that would be pretty good."
The British-born actor was then called a "natural Ohioan" for his thoughts. However, some Ohio natives still questioned his palate.
"As a fellow Buckeye, I would like to remind people what British food is...they eat baked potatoes with tuna and baked beans, their palates aren't to be trusted," one TikTok user commented.
The video has been popular online, amassing 31,700 views and nearly 4,000 likes. Even Skyline Chili commented on the actor's food thoughts.
"Will Poulter approved," the chili chain wrote.
