Over-the-Rhine's only tiki bar is closing.
10th Island Tiki Bar & Grill, a Hawaiian restaurant at 213 Woodward St. near Ziegler Park, will close after about a year in business, according to an Instagram post from the restaurant. Its final day will be Sept. 13.
"We have had an amazing time in this space and look forward to seeing what is in store for it next," the post reads.
Vincente "Vinny" Benedett, his wife, Elena, and cousin Keawe Miller, the owners of Onolicious Hawaii, opened 10th Island Tiki Bar & Grill in June 2025. The tropical-themed restaurant was known for burgers, sandwiches, mussels, calamari, tiki cocktails and traditional Hawaiian shave ice.
The restaurant did not provide a reason for the closure.
"Please come see us over the next
couple weeks. There are some dishes and drinks here that might not be available again, anywhere in the universe, after we are gone," the post adds. "Please be sure to let our staff know how much you appreciate them."
