The annual Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks return to the Ohio Riverfront this weekend, and the celebration is set to be bigger than ever.

return to the Ohio Riverfront this Labor Day weekend on Sunday, Sept. 6.Festivities kick off with Riverfest at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove, with music, food, entertainment and other family fun.
What time do the annual Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks begin?
The annual celebration occurs from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 6 at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove, per the city of Cincinnati's website.
The fireworks show kicks off with a special drone show at 9:01 p.m., followed by fireworks,
which will begin around 9:05 p.m. on Sept. 6. The whole show is expected to last for 50 minutes, about 10 minutes longer than previous years.
The 50th WEBN fireworks will be biggest yet
Every year, the Western & Southern/WEBN Fireworks show promises to be bigger and better, but this year – which also happens to be the event's 50th anniversary – it's for real. Organizers are calling it "The Biggest Blast in America."
This year's show, which has been two years in the making, will have a 360-degree display – the biggest show Rozzi Fireworks has ever done. During the May 12 press conference, Joe Rozzi, the vice president and fourth-generation member of Rozzi's Famous Fireworks family, said there will be more surprises to come and even hinted that Great American Ball Park may be involved.
There will also be a second set of barges located farther downriver to create more viewing space. Fireworks will also be set off from rooftops. The fireworks company is also set to bring in products from Japan that will enhance the show. A second fleet of drones will also create "stunning visuals" visible from both Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
During his That's So Cincinnati podcast appearance, Rozzi said the "last 15 seconds are going to be the most memorable," adding that the show is "going to be epic."
