One person was killed and another injured in a shooting in Clifton early Tuesday morning.
Cincinnati police responded to the 3400 block of Brookline Avenue at about 2:15 a.m. Aug. 18 after receiving reports of a shooting . While officers were on their way, they were informed that a shooting victim had arrived at Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
At the scene, officers found a second victim, who was pronounced dead.The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation. The Cincinnati Police Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
Police have not released the names of the victims or identified any suspects.
