Anderson: Anderson had no trouble with Little Miami, winning 51-14.
Badin: The Rams used 298 rushing yards to race past Edgewood, 31-7.
Elder: The Panthers cruised past Indiana 4A title contender East Central in The Pit, 42-7.
Hamilton: The Big Blue ran for 287 yards and three scores to beat Sycamore, 31-21.
Kings: Kings ran for nearly 300 yards in a bounce-back win over Loveland, 41-14.
Lakota East: Lakota East held off a furious Oak Hills comeback for a 31-28 win.
Lebanon: Lebanon outran West Clermont, 308 yards to 91, in a 34-20 win.
Middletown: Middletown picked up its first win of the year with a 27-20 battle against Fairfield.
Princeton: Princeton didn’t waste much time against Colerain, winning 48-6 after scoring 41 points in the first half.
Turpin: Turpin kept pouring on points in the second half, coming back from a halftime deficit to beat Walnut Hills 43-19.
Western Hills: Western Hill’s offense took off in the second half to win a 66-48 shootout against Cincinnati Country Day.
Winton Woods: Winton Woods scored six rushing touchdowns in a 50-28 win over Milford.
Ohio small-school football team of the week
Blanchester: Blanchester put up 36 points in the fourth quarter of a 68-47 win over Middletown Madison.
CHCA: CHCA secured eight tackles for loss in a 24-12 win over Madeira.
Clark Montessori: The Cougars defense was relentless in a 39-0 shutout of Finneytown.
Fenwick: The Falcons offense had its second big game in a row, outscoring Franklin 39-14.
Goshen: Goshen eclipsed 300 yards rushing to surpass Aiken, 34-12.
Indian Hill: Indian Hill recovered four turnovers in a 56-14 bounce-back win over New Richmond.
Mt. Healthy: Mt. Healthy secured their first win of the season with a 36-27 win over Wilmington.
North College Hill: The Trojans have now outscored their first two opponent 99-0 after a 53-0 win over Bethel-Tate.
Reading: Reading came up with three interceptions, including a pick six, in a 48-0 shutout against Woodward.
St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: The Titans found two interception-return touchdowns as they blanked Shroder, 54-0.
Talawanda: Talawanda raced past Eaton in a 38-6 win.
Waynesville: Waynesville scored 45 points in the first half of an eventual 52-13 win against Hillsboro.
Wyoming: Wyoming’s receivers hauled in 223 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Monroe.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana football team of the week
Beechwood: The Tigers secured a second straight lopsided win in a 41-3 rout of Dixie Heights.
Cooper: Cooper came out on top of a defensive showdown, shutting out Ryle 11-0.
Covington Catholic: The Colonels bounced back with a dominant 42-7 win over Simon Kenton.
Highlands: The Bluebirds offense ran wild in a 55-14 win over Campbell County.
Holy Cross: Holy cross is 3-0 for the second straight year following a 21-8 win over Clermont Northeastern.
Lawrenceburg: Lawrenceburg left no doubt with a 21-point fourth quarter in a 41-14 win over Taylor.
Lloyd Memorial: The Juggernauts unbeaten season continued with a 48-19 victory over Conner.
Newport: Newport cruised in a 50-0 shutout against Gallatin County.
Newport Central Catholic: NewCath surged past Boone County in a 55-21 win.
St. Henry: St. Henry emerged victorious from a 43-40 thriller against Bishop Brossart.
Walton-Verona: Walton-Verona shut out Ludlow, winning 33-0.
Boys fall team of the week
Badin soccer: Badin beat Monroe 2-0 and CHCA 3-1 to extend a five-match winning streak.
East Central soccer: The Trojans are 6-1-1 after beating Franklin County 10-0 and New Palestine 4-3.
Milford golf: The Eagles beat Turpin 145-155 at Ivy Hills and Mariemont 139-164 at Grizzly.
Ryle cross country: The Raiders scored 73 points at their Ryle Invite, taking second place.
Springboro soccer: The Panthers ended a three-match losing streak by beating Springfield 4-0 and Olentangy Liberty 2-1.
St. Henry soccer: Improved to 5-1 for the year after beating Moeller 2-1 on Sept. 1.
St. Xavier soccer: The Bombers picked up their first three wins of the year, beating Sycamore 8-0, Chicago Loyola 3-2 and Chicago St. Ignatius 3-1.
Girls fall team of the week
Bethel-Tate soccer: Bethel-Tate is 4-0-2 and has allowed just a single goal this season. Beat Williamsburg 8-0 on Sept. 1 with a 0-0 draw on Sept. 3.
Cooper volleyball: They beat NewCath in four sets and swept Boone County to extend a three-match winning streak.
Fenwick volleyball: The Falcons beat McNicholas in five sets and swept Badin to improve to 7-0 this year.
Lloyd Memorial volleyball: Ended a five-match losing skid by sweeping Newport 25-9, 25-17, 25-22 on Sept. 3.
Ryle cross country: The Raiders finished in second at their Ryle Invite, scoring 75 team points.
Seton volleyball: The Saints are 8-0 this season and haven’t dropped a set. Seton’s program has won 49-straight matches back to 2024.

Caleb Anderson, Turpin: He contributed to the Spartans’ team title at Talawanda with a runner-up finish in 16:53.8.
Owen Donlin, Walnut Hills: The junior took seventh place at Loveland with a time of 16.58.8.
Caden Henry, Hamilton: The junior took 10th place at Talawanda with a time of 19:01.2.
Maguire Imperial, Summit Country Day: He led the Silver Knights to a second place team finish at Talawanda with a 13th place finish in 19:43.2.
Aiden Long, Lebanon: The senior led the Warriors to the team title at their home meet by finishing in eight place with a time of 16:47.2.
Luke Long, Moeller: The junior took 13th place at Lebanon thanks to a new personal best of 17:00.9.
Eli Reutter, Sycamore: He helped the Aviators sweep the team titles at Loveland with a fourth place finish in a new personal best of 16:32.6.
Ryne Reynolds, Little Miami: He was the individual champion at Loveland, breaking the tape in 15:35.3.

Aaron Eckler, Ryle: He finished in fourth place at the Raiders’ home meet, crossing the line in 16:51.03.
Miles Feldman, Holy Cross: The sophomore ran his varsity debut at the Ryle Invitational, taking 24th place in 18:21.18.
Grant Holbrook, Campbell County: The senior was the runner-up at Ryle with a time of 16:39.71.
Coleman Hughes, Lawrenceburg: The sophomore took fourth place in the DI race at East Central thanks to a new personal best of 18:16.5.
Ethan Mann, Conner: The junior won at Ryle with a time of 16:25.98, about 14 seconds ahead of second place.
Adam Tarvin, Bishop Brossart: The senior took eighth place at Ryle with a time of 17:08.94.
Ohio girls cross-country runner of the week
Elle Campbell, Milford: The senior traveled to Columbus, Indiana, and won the Rick Weinheimer Classic with a time of 18:17.6, beating a field of the top runners in the Hoosier State.
Anna Feeney, Loveland: She was the Tigers’ lead runner at their home meet, crossing the line in fourth place with a time of 20:10.4.
Emma Hauck, Mason: She could be the next distance star for the Comets after taking eighth place at Lebanon in a time of 20:21.
Macie Keener, Fenwick: The sophomore took third place at Lebanon and scored a new personal best of 19:49.1.
Colby Lewis, Turpin: She won the Talawanda Brave Invitational with a time of 19:46.4.
Sydney Magee, Sycamore: She led the Aviators to the team title at Loveland with a runner-up finish in 20:08.6.
Shay Mills, Talawanda: She led four Brave runners in the top 10 of Talawanda’s home meet, crossing the line in fifth place in 21:10.9.
Hadley Petersen, Kings: The sophomore won the Loveland Invitational with a time of 19:53.5, a 15-second gap over second place.
Kinsley Scarth, Hamilton: The freshman took fourth place at Talawanda with a new personal best of 21:02.5.
Lucy Schutte, Oak Hills: She helped the Highlanders win the team title at Lebanon with a sixth place finish in 19:59.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls cross-country runner of the week
Norie Barker, Villa Madonna: She earned her second top-10 finish of the season with a ninth place result at Ryle in a time of 20:40.84.
Ella Carroll, Simon Kenton: She took 15th place at Ryle in 21:11.29.
Alyssa Donawerth, East Central: The sophomore earned her fourth top-10 finish of the season, taking ninth place at the Trojans’ home meet in 21:48.7.
Emily Klim, Scott: The sophomore showed steady improvement for the third race in a row, taking 30th place at Ryle with a time of 22:22.58.
Madeline Olson, Dixie Heights: The sophomore took 20th place at Ryle with a time of 21:33.41.
Aubrey Poore, Ryle: The senior helped the Raiders earn a second place team finish at their home meet, finishing in fourth place with a time of 19:54.95.

Sarah Benne, Mount Notre Dame: The sophomore had two goals and an assist in a win over St. Ursula before scoring four goals with another assist over Walnut Hills.
Emma Terhar, Summit Country Day: In goal, allowed just one goal as Summit beat Talawanda 3-1 for its first win of the season.
Fay Van De Meulengraaf, Indian Hill: The top scorer for the Braves this season, she had two goals and two assists in a win over North Oldham and three goals and two assists in a win over Oakwood.

Cordell Ball, Oak Hills: He had seven catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-28 loss to Lakota East.
Izak Campbell, La Salle: He had a 60-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the Lancers’ 24-21 loss to Fairmont.
Joey Dahmer, Milford: The senior receiver caught six passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in a 50-28 loss to Winton Woods.
Jasiah Feliciano, West Clermont: He caught seven passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-20 loss to Lebanon.
Zeek Garrett, Winton Woods: He rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns in a 50-28 win over Milford.
Terrance Jones Jr., Princeton: Princeton sacked Colerain quarterback Roman Garr six times, including 3.5 sacks from Jones Jr. He finished with 4.5 tackles for a loss as the Cardinals were held to just five rushing yards in the Vikings' 49-6 victory.
Nile Knutson, Lakota East: He threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-28 win over Oak Hills. All four TD passes came in the first half.
Gavin Nolan, Middletown: He stepped in at quarterback and was 7-of-12 passing for 104 yards, and rushed for 40 yards and two TDs, in a 27-20 win over Fairfield.
Kenyon Norman, Lakota West: He rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-10 win over Mason.
Colton Rehage, Harrison: He had nine catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner from 22 yards in the fourth quarter, in a 33-28 win over Beavercreek.
Logan Schmenk, Lebanon: He rushed for 224 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-20 win over West Clermont that kept the Warriors unbeaten.
Amerious Stringer, Hamilton: He rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-21 win over Sycamore.
Brayden Tepe, Elder: He led the defense with 12 tackles (six solo) and an interception in a 42-7 win over East Central.
Joshua Thornton, Walnut Hills: Thornton was 14-of-20 through the air for 170 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He also ran for 143 yards on 22 attempts with two more scores in Walnut Hills' 43-19 loss to Turpin.
Nathan Tucker, Kings: In a 41-14 win over Loveland, he was responsible for 88% of the team receiving yards. He had three catches for 132 yards (44 per catch) and two touchdowns, including a 74-yard TD reception.
Ohio small-school football player of the week
Jacob Alexander, Indian Hill: The junior running back ran 13 times for 132 yards and four touchdowns as Indian Hill beat New Richmond 56-14.
Jomar Berg, Goshen: He had an interception, four tackles and a pass defended in a 34-12 win over Aiken that made the Warriors 3-0 for the first time since 2017.
Camar Ellis, Talawanda: The senior had eight catches for 164 yards and a touchdown in the team’s 38-6 win over Eaton which kept Talawanda unbeaten at 3-0.
Chase Even, Badin: He more than doubled his season totals with 218 yards rushing and two running touchdowns in a 31-7 win over Edgewood.
Mohamad Mangure, Gamble Montessori: He had had 175 yards total offense and two touchdowns, and a punt return TD called back by a penalty, in a 20-6 win over Norwood which improved the Gators to 3-0.
Noah Miller, CHCA: He had a 93-yard kickoff return and a 38-yard reception for touchdowns in a 24-12 win at Madeira.
Hezekiah Powell, Purcell Marian: He had 12 tackles, seven solo to lead the defense in an 18-6 win over Meadowdale.
Tink Sellers, Deer Park: He threw for two touchdowns, rushed for one and had an interception in a 48-6 win over MVCA that kept the Wildcats unbeaten at 3-0.
Omontae Smith, Hughes: He rushed for an 85-yard touchdown with 2:46 to go in the game to give the Big Red the lead for good in a 30-27 win over Roger Bacon.
Elijah Sterling, Northwest: He caught both touchdown passes in a 14-12 win over Ross which made the Knights 3-0 for the first time since 2015.
Mikhail Stewart, Deer Park: He returned a kickoff for a touchdown in a 48-0 win over Woodward.
Dameko Taylor, St. Bernard-Elmwood Place: He rushed four times for 154 yards and two touchdowns, and had a 65-yard pick-six interception return in a 54-0 win over Shroder.
Jonas Whalen, Wyoming: He rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Monroe.
Northern Kentucky/ Indiana football player of the week
Colten Barger, Lloyd Memorial: He threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 86 yards and a touchdown in a win over Conner.
Jaxon Frazier, Beechwood: He forced and recovered a fumble in the Tigers’ win over Dixie Heights.
Van Hundemer, Newport Central Catholic: The senior ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns, caught a 19-yard touchdown pass and made three tackles as the Thoroughbreds earned their first win of the season.
Demarco Jackson, Newport: He had a 50-yard touchdown reception, ran for 11 yards and a touchdown, and had an interception in a win over Gallatin County.
Jonny Lind, Covington Catholic: He led the Colonels with nine tackles, including a 14-yard sack, and forced two fumbles in a win over Simon Kenton.
Lucas Pate, St. Henry: He ran for 239 yards and three touchdowns, had a 31-yard touchdown catch, made three tackles, and forced and recovered a fumble in an epic comeback against Bishop Brossart.
Landon Spaulding, Bishop Brossart: The quarterback completed 70 percent of his passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns, and ran eight times for 137 yards and three touchdowns against St. Henry.
Gabe Williams, Highlands: He returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over Campbell County.
Boys golfer of the week
Michael Figiola, CHCA: He shot a 147 at the MVC Tournament, tying for first place.
Hudson Humphrey, Madeira: Humphrey shot a one-over 37 at The Mill Course to be medalist in a win over Taylor.
Austin Marty, Wyoming: The freshman was a medalist on Sept. 2 against Madeira, shooting a 39 at Wyoming GC.
Blake Rohling, Roger Bacon: In the MVC tournament, he finished tied for first with a 147.
Cooper Young, Milford: Young shot a 34 at Grizzly Course, getting medalist honors in a win over Mariemont.
Girls golfer of the week
Olivia Donovan, Lebanon: She shot a 37 at Bel-Wood, taking medalist honors over Kings by five strokes. She then tied for first against Walnut Hills with a 39.
Ellie Hartung, Madeira: She shot a 38 at The Mill Course in a tri-match win over Harrison and Mariemont.
Ash Kertpet, Walnut Hills: She had the low score at Losantiville against Turpin with a 40 and then tied for lowest against Lebanon at Harmon with a 39.
Leah Mulcahy, Ursuline Academy: At The Mill on Aug. 31, she shot a 38 for the low score against Mercy McAuley.

Chase Pinkerton, Eastern Brown: The senior tied a school record with his 14th career shutout in goal in a 2-0 win over Leesburg-Fairfield.

Olivia West-Shelby Ellington, Western Brown: Western Brown’s second doubles team has yet to lose, going 8-0 overall and posting a 5-0 record in SBAAC play.

Ohio big-school volleyball player of the week
Reese Aracri, Springboro: The sophomore had 16 kills, seven digs, four aces and two blocks in a win over Fairmont that moved the Panthers to 5-0 for the first time since 2017.
Rosalee Bridges, Hamilton: The sophomore had 25 assists, six digs and three aces in a win over Edgewood.
Kelsey Green, Ursuline: The junior had 52 assists, 11 digs and two kills in a five-set win over Mount Notre Dame, then posted 33 assists, 14 digs and a block in a win over St. Ursula.
Karli Krohn, Loveland: She posted 12 kills, eight digs and three blocks in a win over Little Miami, then had four kills, four digs, three aces and two assists in a win over West Clermont.
Claire Mickelson, Mason: In an all-around effort to beat Roger Bacon, she contributed 10 assists, four digs and three aces.
Regan Oaks, Harrison: Her double-double of 16 kills and 19 digs helped the Wildcats beat Taylor in four sets.
Laura Raines, Kings: She led the Knights with 21 kills, six digs and two blocks in a four-set battle with Anderson.
Penelope Reisman, Seton: She posted 22 assists, 10 digs and four aces in a win over Mercy McAuley, then had 27 assists and six digs in a win over Lakota West.
Hope Vernon, Walnut Hills: She was the player of the match in a five-set win over West Clermont, totaling 18 kills, 19 digs, four aces and three blocks.
Kelsey Willshaw, Sycamore: The freshman contributed 14 assists and four digs in a win over Princeton.

Abby Beach, Deer Park: She had 26 assists, 10 digs, a kill and an ace in a five-set win over Middletown Christian.
Kate Conn, MVCA: She had 19 assists, six aces and five digs in a win over Bethel-Tate.
Emily Cordes, Wyoming: In two league wins, she totaled 28 assists, seven kills, six digs and three aces.
Ellie Distler, Ross: The sophomore led the Rams to a win over Lakota East with 12 kills, seven digs and two aces.
Brylee Faul, Georgetown: The sophomore had 14 assists, 13 digs and five aces in a win over Felicity-Franklin.
Josslyn Kidd, Purcell Marian: She led the Cavaliers to a win over New Miami with 10 assists, eight digs and six aces.
Leah Kreimer, Williamsburg: She led the Wildcats in a five-set win over Bethel-Tate with 13 digs, 13 kills and five aces.
Emme Moser, Fenwick: Her 18 digs, four assists and four aces, plus an overall strong service game, helped the Falcons pull off a reverse sweep of McNicholas.
Anya Whitt, Waynesville: The senior had 21 kills, seven digs and four aces in a five-set win over Wilmington.
Northern Kentucky/ Indiana volleyball player of the week
Payce Adams, Beechwood: The eighth-grader posted six kills and seven digs in a win over Walton-Verona.
Lilly Brown, Cooper: In wins over Newport Central Catholic and Boone County, she totaled 82 assists, 24 digs and five kills.
Grace Duncan, East Central: The senior had 18 assists, eight digs, six aces and two kills in a sweep of Franklin County.
Meredith Hicks, Highlands: The senior had eight kills on a .412 hitting percentage, three digs, a block and an ace in a sweep of Dixie Heights.
Chloe Hershey, Campbell County: She had 10 kills, 14 assists, five aces and eight digs in a win over Grant County.
Clare Holtzapfel, Ryle: She totaled 57 assists, five digs, three blocks and three kills as the Raiders went 2-0 last week.
Shylyn Koerber, Conner: She had a triple-double of 14 kills, 12 assists, 11 digs and two aces in a sweep of Highlands.
Evelyn Laker, Bishop Brossart: She led the Lady ‘Stangs to their first win over Scott since 2022 with 11 kills, six digs, three aces and two blocks.
Madison Stelzer, Calvary Christian: The sophomore libero finished with 18 digs, five assists and four aces in a win over Bracken County.

For past winners: The Enquirer will no longer mail certificates to schools after getting feedback that families weren't receiving them.
