Happy Wednesday.

I spent part of my weekend reading the angry Facebook comments on my ranking of the 15 best pizzas in Greater Cincinnati. Many readers agreed with my top 2 pizzas (Wayfarer Tavern and St. Francis Apizza), though a lot of people complained they couldn't read the story because of the paywall. (Subscriptions have their privileges, don't they?) Some were furious that I included LaRosa's (it's Cincinnati's most iconic pizza. Why can't you love it?), while others were astonished to see that their own favorite pizza spots weren't represented.

Many of the pizzerias they mentioned were places I've never tried before. Among them were Richard's Pizza, with four locations (Fairfield, Hamilton, Trenton and Monroe), Chester's Pizza in Hamilton, Roc-a-Fella's

in Sharonville, Fratelli's in West Chester (which Cincinnati Magazine named the best NYC-style pizza back in 2003), Ghost Kitchen Pizza in Covington (surprised I haven't heard of this one before), Tony's Pizzeria in Mason (which also sells pepperoni rolls, meaning I'll be there soon), Garzelli's Pub & Pizza in Erlanger, Your Mom's Pizzeria in Mount Adams, Brooklyn Pizza & Pasta in Montgomery and Da Dini in Monroe.

If there's a pizzeria you think I missed, please let me know. Keep in mind that it must be locally owned (which is why another local favorite, Goodfella's Pizza, was not on my list).

Eckerlin Meats at Findlay Market is selling a banh mi sausage that is worthy of trying. Just grill it up, place it on a College Hill Bakery bun (also sold at Eckerlin) and top it with some pickled vegetables, fresh cucumber and cilantro. It's insanely good.
