"Scrubs" is back for season 2, nearly seven months after the revival debuted. The new season of the popular reboot premieres this Wednesday.
The series follows a group of medical interns at Sacred Heart, alongside Sibby ("SNL" alum Vanessa Bayer), the hospital's wellness director and human resources manager.
The show also brings back original stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke and John C. McGinley, along with several newcomers.

How many seasons of 'Scrubs' are there?
"Scrubs" originally ran for nine seasons from 2001 to 2010. The reboot's second installment will be the show's 11th season.

According to NJ.com, Joel Kim Booster, who plays Dr. Eric Park, and X Mayo, who plays Pippa, will not return for the show's next season. New cast members include former "Saturday Night Live" cast member John Higgins as chief resident Grant, Keyla Monterroso Mejia as surgical nurse Mimi and Scott Foley as Sean Kelly, the boyfriend of Dr. Elliot Reid.

Is Tamera Mowry in Scrubs?
Yes, actress and television personality Tamera Mowry-Housley, known for her roles in "Sister, Sister," "The Real," "Twitches" and other projects, will guest star in Season 2 of the "Scrubs" revival, according to Variety. She will play Dr. Steffie, a "pediatric doctor who tries to persuade Tosh (Ava Bunn) to choose peds as her specialty," the publication reported.

The hit medical comedy takes place at the fictional private teaching hospital, Sacred Heart, which is located in the fictional town of San DiFrangeles, California, per the"Scrubs" fandom site.
