Former Cincinnati Reds fan favorite Todd Frazier, an analyst in ESPN's Little League World Series coverage, has sounded very impressed with the Hamilton West Side team.
During the broadcast of Hamilton West Side's game against Phenix City, Alabama, Frazier talked about how apparent it was that the team from Ohio looked and played like it "belonged" in Williamsport.
That said, Frazier said he's picking Nevada to emerge as the U.S. champ.
"I gotta be honest with you," Frazier said. "You've gotta stick with Nevada. They're undefeated. A team that came out of their shell a little bit. We didn't know what kind of power they had. They bunted a lot. But they definitely came out of their shell."
Nevada, which has already reach the U.S. title game, awaits
the winner of Thursday's game between Hamilton West Side and Iowa.
