readers were able to vote for their favorite high school Athletes of the Week on their desktop, the Cincinnati.com mobile web or Cincinnati.com app as much as they'd like, with a refreshed page.Winners can email prepsports@enquirer.com to ask for a PDF of their certificate. Once printed, families can take a photo of winners with their certificates for a future gallery.

big-school football team ‒ Kings: Kings ran for nearly 300 yards in a bounce-back win over Loveland, 41-14.
Ohio small-school football team ‒ Clark Montessori: The Cougars' defense was relentless in a 39-0 shutout of Finneytown.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana football team ‒ Walton-Verona: Walton-Verona shut out Ludlow, winning 33-0.
Boys fall team ‒ East Central soccer: The Trojans are 6-1-1 after beating Franklin County 10-0 and New Palestine 4-3.
Girls fall team ‒ Ryle cross country: The Raiders finished in second at their Ryle Invite, scoring 75 team points.
Ohio boys cross country - Luke Long, Moeller: The junior took 13th place at Lebanon thanks to a new personal best of 17:00.9.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys cross country ‒ Miles Feldman, Holy Cross: The sophomore ran his varsity debut at the Ryle Invitational, taking 24th place in 18:21.18.
Ohio girls cross country - Macie Keener, Fenwick: The sophomore took third place at Lebanon and scored a new personal best of 19:49.1.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls cross country ‒ Aubrey Poore, Ryle: The senior helped the Raiders earn a second place team finish at their home meet, finishing in fourth place with a time of 19:54.95.
Field hockey - Sarah Benne, Mount Notre Dame: The sophomore had two goals and an assist in a win over St. Ursula before scoring four goals and another assist against Walnut Hills.
Ohio big-school football player ‒ Joey Dahmer, Milford: The senior receiver caught six passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in a 50-28 loss to Winton Woods.
Ohio small-school football player ‒ Jonas Whalen, Wyoming: He rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Monroe.
Northern Kentucky/ Indiana football ‒ Landon Spaulding, Bishop Brossart: The quarterback completed 70 percent of his passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns, and ran eight times for 137 yards and three touchdowns against St. Henry.
Boys golfer ‒ Cooper Young, Milford: Young shot a 34 at Grizzly Course, getting medalist honors in a win over Mariemont.
Girls golfer ‒ Leah Mulcahy, Ursuline Academy: At The Mill on Aug. 31, she shot a 38 for the low score against Mercy McAuley.
Ohio big-school boys soccer player ‒ Lucas Ballard, Harrison: The senior scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Little Miami.
Ohio small-school boys soccer player ‒ A.J. Goff, McNicholas: He made 17 saves in a 2-1 win over Mariemont and seven in a 3-0 shutout of Simon Kenton. He currently has 81 saves, one of the highest in the city.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana boys soccer player ‒ Max Popil, St. Henry: He scored a goal to help the team to 2-1 win over Ohio power Moeller.
Ohio big-school girls soccer player ‒ Liana Kim, Mason: The sophomore had three goals and an assist in an 8-0 win over Colerain.
Ohio small-school girls soccer player ‒ Addyson Dryden, New Richmond: The freshman keeper had 31 total saves in losses to two of the best teams in the SBAAC: Western Brown and Batavia.
Northern Kentucky/Indiana girls soccer ‒ Aubrey Fuller, Walton-Verona: She had three goals in an 8-0 win over Henry County and later helped the team win the All “A” Eighth Region championship.
Ohio girls tennis singles player ‒ Jasmine Ashbrook, Western Brown: The senior has gone 5-0 in Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference first-singles play with an 11-1 overall record.
Ohio girls tennis doubles team ‒ Morgan Catron-Kadynce Roberts, New Richmond: New Richmond’s first doubles team has gone 5-0 in conference matches and is 7-0 on the season.
Ohio big-school volleyball player ‒ Hope Vernon, Walnut Hills: She was the player of the match in a five-set win over West Clermont, totaling 18 kills, 19 digs, four aces and three blocks.
Ohio small-school volleyball player ‒ Ellie Distler, Ross: The sophomore led the Rams to a win over Lakota East with 12 kills, seven digs and two aces.
Northern Kentucky/ Indiana volleyball player ‒ Madison Stelzer, Calvary Christian: The sophomore libero finished with 18 digs, five assists and four aces in a win over Bracken County.
How to get Enquirer winners' certificates from the 2025-2026 school year
For past winners: The Enquirer will no longer mail certificates to schools after getting feedback that families weren't receiving them. Alex Harrison will make digital copies of all certificates available to families by 8 a.m. the Monday after the Friday win. Families will access the PDFs through this public Dropbox link. Once printed, families can email a photo to mlaughman@enquirer.com for our gallery.
