Entering Week 8 of the high school football season, nine teams in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky were undefeated and playing for perfect records. In the two weeks since, Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy, Dayton, Deer Park, Goshen, and Hughes have taken losses, leaving only four undefeated Cincinnati-area teams
Three of the remaining undefeated squads come from Ohio and have just one more regular season game left to win for a flawless regular season. One comes from Northern Kentucky with two more regular-season games to play.
See the remaining four undefeated locals below with some facts on their current and past regular-season successes.
Beechwood Tigers (8-0)
In eight games played, Beechwood has allowed more than a touchdown just once. The Tigers are 8-0 with
their 42-35 win against Covington Catholic the only game to finish within a score. The next closest game was their 41-3 win over Dixie Heights.
In the last two weeks, the Tigers beat St. Henry 62-0 and Gallatin County 69-0 to make their point differential 423-45. Take away the CovCath contest and it is a 381-10 advantage.

From 2021 to this season, the Tigers have gone 54-4 in the regular season, losing only to Covington Catholic once each season from 2022 to 2025. Those four regular-season losses since 2021 go against three Class 2A state championships in the same span.
Remaining schedule: Oct. 23 at Bracken County (2-6), Oct. 30 at Campbell County (3-5)
RPI standings: 0.75423 (3rd in Class 2A)
North College Hill Trojans (8-0)
The Trojans have continued to dominate every team on their schedule despite having to address some eligibility issues in court.
In the last two weeks, North College Hill notched its sixth and seventh shutouts of the year with victories against Clark Montessori and Cincinnati Country Day. The 62-0 and 70-0 wins bumped the Trojans' point differential this season to 432-3. A field goal from the 43-3 win at Summit Country Day remains the lone points allowed by the Trojans this year.

North College Hill finishes the regular season at Norwood. The Indians are 1-8 this year and have been shut out four times, including the last two weeks.
The Trojans were denied a possible 10-0 regular season with their Week 1 game against Fairport Harding canceled. The Skippers are 1-7 this year and have been shut out four times, not including a Week 3 forfeit.
Remaining schedule: Oct. 23 at Norwood (1-8)
Playoff point standings: 18.6420 points (3rd in Region 16)
Princeton Vikings (9-0)
The Vikings have already clinched a share of the Greater Miami Conference title, winning the conference for the fourth-straight year (including a split with Lakota West in 2024).
Princeton has outscored teams 385-103 this year and has allowed just seven or fewer points in six of its nine wins.
Michigan commit Monsanna Torbert hasn't played at quarterback in the last four weeks, but the Vikings have rolled with Key'Sean Torbert taking over the role and Jordan Hall continuing to have success running the ball.
Remaining schedule: Oct. 23 vs. Fairfield (5-4)
Playoff point standings: 30.2500 (1st in Region 4)
Wyoming Cowboys (9-0)
Deer Park lost to Indian Hill in 42-22 Week 9, preventing a regular-season finale against Wyoming with perfect regular seasons on the line.
Wyoming, with a win, would be 10-0 for the second time in three seasons. The Cowboys haven't lost a regular-season game to a team not named Indian Hill since a 28-20 loss at Reading in Week 9 of the 2015 season. Since that loss, Wyoming has gone 104-2 in the regular season, with losses to Indian Hill in 2023 and 2025.
Remaining schedule: Oct. 23 at Deer Park (8-1)
Playoff point standings: 22.2677 (1st in Region 16)
