Houston Texans star receiver Nico Collins is not expected to play in the team's Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a report Sept. 18 from KPRC2's Aaron Wilson.
Wilson reported that Collins did not participate in practice Friday morning. He also was a non-participant Thursday, according to the team's injury report.
Collins has a Grade 1 hamstring injury, according to Wilson, who reported earlier in the week that Collins was expected to have tests done on the injury. Collins led the Texans with seven receptions (on 10 targets) with 75 receiving yards and a touchdown during their Week 1 loss to Buffalo.
Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who missed consecutive practices Wednesday and Thursday because of a knee injury, also
missed the open portion of practice Friday, according to Wilson. Clowney had one sack and two quarterback pressures against Buffalo.
And guard Ed Ingram was limited Thursday because of a groin injury.
Earlier, the Texans announced starting linebacker Henry To'oTo'o won't play against the Bengals because of a shoulder injury. The Texans put To'oTo'o on the reserve/injured list.
